Young Charles Darwin's adventures.

Usually, when we think of Charles Darwin, we think of an old gentleman with a bushy beard. However, Charles Darwin was only 22 years old when he was hired to be the Beagle ship's naturalist. He traveled the world for five years collecting samples. Then he returned to England and spent many years refining his theory and doing experiments to test his ideas. Darwin first mentioned the theory of evolution in the late 1830s, but it was not until 1859 that it was finally published in his work, The Origin Of Species.
